Before we clean
Every piece is photographed at intake, five photos covering the whole piece, its components, and any existing condition issues. Those photos are stored with your order and are what we compare against if a question ever comes up.
What we inspect for
When a piece reaches our facility we check it again before any cleaning starts. If we find damage that was not visible in the intake photos, or a piece we believe is too fragile to clean safely, we stop and flag the order for review rather than proceeding.
Fragile and previously repaired pieces
Glass that has been previously repaired, glued, or that shows stress cracks is handled with extra care, but existing weakness is not something cleaning can fix. If we think the risk is high, we tell you before we start.
If something goes wrong
If a piece is damaged while in our care, we document it immediately, notify you, and work with you and the partner shop on a resolution. The photos from intake and after cleaning exist so both sides are working from the same record.
Accessories
Tell us at drop-off about anything removable that comes with the piece. Accessories are logged at intake and checked again at quality control before the piece goes back to the shop.
