What we collect
To run an order we collect your name, a phone number or email address, your contact preference, the photos taken at intake, and the partner shop you used. If you pay online, payment is processed by Stripe and we store only the payment status and a reference. Never your card number.
How we use it
Contact details are used to tell you about your order: that we received it, that it is ready, and anything that needs your attention. If you opted in to updates we will send those; if you did not, we will only contact you when something about your order requires it.
Photos
Intake and post-cleaning photos are stored privately and are visible only to you (through your tracking link), the partner shop handling your order, and Rinse n' Rip staff. They are not public, not indexed, and not used for marketing without your explicit permission.
Sharing
We share the minimum necessary with the partner shop that is holding your piece, your name, order number, and status, so they can hand it back to the right person. We do not sell personal information.
Your tracking link
Your tracking link contains a secret token. Anyone with the link can see that order's status, so treat it like a receipt.
Retention and requests
Order records, photos included, are kept as business and liability records. To ask what we hold about you, or to request deletion where we are not required to retain it, contact us.
